Rating and Reviewing Your Cleaner

How to leave feedback and why it matters.

Your feedback is one of the most important ways you can help us maintain the high standards you expect from Servella. Every review you leave helps your cleaner know how they're doing, allows us to recognise excellent performance, and helps us identify any areas where we can improve.

When you can leave a review

You can leave a review after any completed booking. Once your clean is finished and marked as complete, the booking will appear in your Reviews section ready for feedback.

How you'll be notified

After each completed clean, you'll receive a "Your Cleaning is Complete" email. This email includes:

  • A summary of your booking details
  • Your invoice (attached as a PDF)
  • A prominent "Leave a Review" button
  • Links to rebook or view your booking

Simply click the "Leave a Review" button in the email, or visit the Reviews section of your dashboard at any time to leave feedback on completed bookings.

How to leave a review

Leaving a review is quick and easy. From your dashboard, go to the Reviews section where you'll see any completed bookings awaiting feedback. Select a booking and you'll be asked to provide two ratings:

Rate your cleaner

Give your cleaner a rating from 1 to 5 stars based on their performance. Consider factors like:

  • Quality of the clean
  • Attention to detail
  • Professionalism and punctuality
  • How well they followed your instructions
  • Overall impression

Rate the service

Give the cleaning service itself a rating from 1 to 5 stars. This helps us understand how well the overall service is meeting your needs, separate from the individual cleaner's performance.

Add comments

You can also add optional comments (up to 500 characters) to provide more detail about your experience. This is your chance to:

  • Highlight specific things your cleaner did well
  • Mention any areas that could be improved
  • Note any particular preferences for next time
  • Share any other feedback about your experience

Once you've entered your ratings and any comments, click "Submit Review" to send your feedback.

Viewing your past reviews

All the reviews you've submitted are saved in your dashboard. Visit the Reviews section to see your review history, including the ratings and comments you've left for each booking.

  • Positive reviews motivate cleaners and help us recognise excellent performance
  • They allow us to spot and address any issues quickly before they become problems
  • They contribute to each cleaner's overall rating, helping maintain quality standards
  • They help us make better decisions about cleaner assignments and training

Even quick feedback helps

We understand you're busy. Even if you don't have time to write detailed comments, a quick star rating takes just seconds and still provides valuable feedback. A 5-star rating lets your cleaner know they've done a great job, and anything less helps us understand where we need to improve.

Private feedback

If you have concerns you'd rather not share in a review, you can always contact our support team directly at support@servella.co.uk. We take all feedback seriously and will investigate any issues promptly and confidentially.

What happens after you submit a review

Once submitted, your review:

  • Is added to your cleaner's overall rating
  • Becomes visible in your review history
  • Is reviewed by our quality team as part of our ongoing monitoring
  • May be used to recognise exceptional cleaners or identify training needs
