Deleting Your Account
How to permanently delete your Servella account.
We're sorry to see you go. If you need to delete your account, you can do so through our dedicated account deletion page. Please read the information below carefully before proceeding, as this action cannot be undone.
Data that will be permanently deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
- All saved addresses
- Saved payment methods
- Pending and upcoming bookings (these will be cancelled)
- Support messages and conversations
- Referral credits and rewards
Data retained for legal compliance
Some data must be retained for legal and regulatory purposes:
- Invoice records - anonymised and retained for 7 years for UK tax compliance
- Payment transaction history - required for financial auditing
How your data is anonymised
Any personal details in retained records will be anonymised to "Deleted User". This means the financial records exist for compliance purposes but cannot be linked back to you personally.
How to delete your account
To permanently delete your account:
- Sign in to your Servella account
- Go to your Profile page (click your name in the top right, then select "Profile")
- Click on the "Security" tab
- Scroll down to the "Delete Account" section at the bottom
- Click "Delete my account"
- Enter your password to confirm your identity
- Tick the checkbox confirming you understand this action is permanent
- Click "Delete My Account Permanently"
- You'll be signed out and redirected to the home page
Can't sign in?
If you're unable to sign in to delete your account, you can request deletion by emailing support@servella.co.uk with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Include your registered email address and we'll process your request within 30 days as required by data protection regulations.
Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. All your data is permanently removed and you cannot reactivate the account. If you want to use Servella again in the future, you'll need to create a new account.
Alternative options
If you just need a break from cleaning services, consider these alternatives instead of deleting your account:
- Pause your regular cleans - you can resume them any time without losing your settings
- Cancel upcoming bookings - you can always rebook later
- Update your marketing preferences - opt out of promotional emails in your profile
